Babe Ruth launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Bullet Joe Bush completed the
game without help from the bullpen at Comiskey Park as the New York Yankees
beat the Chicago White Sox by the count of 8 to 4.
Ruth led the offense for New York. He clubbed a two-run home run in the 3rd
inning, doubled in the 5th inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the
6th inning. New York totaled 13 hits on the afternoon.
Bush(6-2) lasted until the end allowing 4 runs for the win. Ferdie Schupp(0-4)
was given the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 9 hits
and 3 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
Wth the win New York now has a record of 27-23. With the loss, the Chicago
